My mother sent me on a few errands today.
I decided to make the most out of it. TCS and ABS kept kicking in, ruining the fun.

Not for the ABS, I couldn't find the one for the traction control though.

Makes sense for a family van. They hide it away so your average soccer mom doesn't accidentally find it and press it thinking it's an automatic door closing button.

My mom has the same van in a different color... SO MUCH FUN CAN BE HAD.
The V6 actually does a nice job powering the van. Just hooned it in the snow the other day.

I actually floored it on an empty straight so VTEC kicked in, it's a totally different car. The engine is the only redeeming quality of this car tbh. I despise driving it like a normal car should be, mainly because the pillars block my view, and I can't shoulder check on my side easily, the thing is HUGE.

The fastest I've ever been as a driver was in a van. Back when I was young, stupid, and fortunately didn't yet have the keys to a rally car. Now in the (new) van hooning is mostly restricted to e-brake turns at lower speeds

Pulling fuses is a bad idea (even if just in case anything goes wrong), but sometimes I'm tempted to turn off the overly sensitive ABS for some time... Just to get a feel.

I'm guessing Mom doesn't read Oppo, probable just sticks with Jalopnik front page. Hopefully Michael Ballaban doesn't promote this.

It's not that bad of a van. It's what I learned to drive on so I'm used to the size, it made me an excellent parker haha.

Our old Sienna van used to be great fun. Had a fair amount of power, but sadly the e-brake was a pedal, so no proper winter homage.

That's my parents car, but ours is in ocean mist blue. It's been a great car for them. IIRC, traction control off should be to the left of the steering wheel. Also, my dad loves the engine. Every once in a while he does something he calls 'retro rockets'where he just floors it. The pick up is actually surprising, especially for a minivan. I have not had the chance to hoon yet. may look into it at some point. Glad you had fun!
